Kerry-based machine learning start-up Graphite-Note has closed a €1.2m seed funding round with investment from Enterprise Ireland and Harvest Financial CEO Gerry Devitt.

The company, which was founded in 2020 by Hrvoje Smolic and Vinnie Lynch, intends to use the funds to achieve further international growth and add 25 jobs at its base at the RDI Hub over the next two years in operations, sales, marketing and technology.

Graphite-Note’s non-code machine learning platform offers businesses actionable insights using analytics, and its clients include Fexco (PACE), Katana and Escape Agency.

The firm’s subscription-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) model allows business intelligence and data analytics teams to access predictive and prescriptive analytics quickly.
